James Dumas
I’m James Dumas, Lead Pastor of Montgomery Heights Baptist. My wife Joan and I have two married sons, Chuck and Jonathan. We also have four wonderful grandchildren. I am a husband, father, and grandfather who loves his wife of 45 years, children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren!
I am a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a degree in Pastoral Ministries and master’s degree from Liberty Seminary and Graduate School. I’m a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains with more than 14 years experience as a healthcare chaplain/manager of the pastoral care department of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Since my retirement from the Medical Center, I’m devoting more time and energy to The Heights. My education, board certification, and experience enable me to take the Word of God and apply its truths to living in a secular society. God desires our devotion and wishes to draw us into an eternal relationship with Him through His son, Jesus.
I look forward to meeting you, as the lyrics from Beauty and the Beast say, “Be our guest, Be our guest, Be our guest.” You’ll find love and acceptance at The Heights.
